Saturday, Jun 23, 2012 is the official day of the Fun Run. PLEASE SIGN UP and respond to the Survey questions. Every year the Virginia Chapters of the Southern Cruisers Riding Club get together to enjoy hanging out with other chapter members, participate in biker games, participate in local rides, enjoy the outdoors, and enjoy the good times with good brew. The Fun Run, as it's affectionately named, is purposely moved to different locations in Virginia so that all members can enjoy a real taste of the beautiful landscapes, roads and folks that Virginia has to offer. All VA Chapters may bid for the Fun Run. There is just one catch... If you win the bid for the fun run to be located in your hood, you have to host it. So we are. Sky King and the lovely Melissa King have taken on the task to manage and coordinate it with lots of help from the Greater Manassas Chapter members. These pages are full of information about schedules, activities, etc. Hotel check-in after 3:00pm Friday, Jun 22. Check out 11:00am Sunday, Jun 24. Tentative schedule ----- Friday Meet-n-Greet starting at 4:00pm at the hotel. Free BBQ cookout 7:15 PM at Mark and Barbie's. Leave Hotel at 7:00 PM. Saturday: Breakfast on your own; free continental breakfast at hotel or IHop / Denny's for the hearty eaters. Group rides departing at 9:00 and 10:00 AM Rides return by 1:00 PM Down time 1:00-2:00 PM Biker games 2:00-5:00 PM Dinner begins at 6:00 PM Socializing under the canopies/tents after dinner until the party fizzles. Sunday:Breakfast on your own, then scatter departure. |
